Riding & Trekking available at Manor Farm |
Horse Riding
Hack for miles in the wonderful Quantock Hills, away from traffic in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Situated in the county of Somerset, Manor Farm is the perfect base for holidays on horseback, centred in some of the most beautiful rolling countryside in the West Country. Ride amongst open heath and woodland with fantastic vistas towards Exmoor, the Brendon Hills, the Blackdown Hills, the Polden Hills and even across the Bristol Channel to the Welsh coast. The Quantock Hills in Somerset host a large number of tracks, bridleways, forest trails and circular routes so the need to ride on the open road or near traffic is very limited. Whilst the sun is high, enjoy the spectacular panoramic views over three counties. If you need a little shade, head for the wooded coombes and forest tracks.
Horse Riding Holidays
Manor Farm is the ideal place for a holiday break. The Quantock Hills and surrounding towns offer a variety of activities for all tastes (and weather!) all year round. You are welcome to stay at the farm in our comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation or self catering appartment at any time of the year. Please contact us for bookings. Horse riding is a favourite, so we make every effort to ensure this enjoyable pastime is available throughout the year.
Escorted Horse Riding
Whilst on holiday in the South West, why not take advantage of our unique Quantock location by joining us riding the hills and bridleways on one of Manor Farm's well schooled, happy horses.
We can accommodate all experience levels.
Our escorted rides are very popular, so please book your ride in advance to avoid disappointment.
